Our founding vision
Abbey Road Academy was started to share a deep passion for performance and theatre with future generations. Our dream is to see Abbey Road students flourish on big stages and big screens, truly loving and living their craft. We focus on personal and individual growth, nurturing the unique performer within each student, from age 3 to 60+.
A personal approach to performance
What makes learning tap, drama, or dance fitness at Abbey Road a special experience? Our approach is deeply personal. We don't teach with the assumption that all students share the same strengths and weaknesses. Instead, we tailor each pathway so that every student walks away from their lesson feeling individually recognized and supported, while still being an integral part of our vibrant community.
More than just a class
Whether you're a budding performer at three or discovering new rhythms at 60+, we want every student to feel respected, encouraged, supported, and celebrated. At Abbey Road, you're not just learning skills; you're joining a whānau (family) where your individual journey is cherished and every achievement, big or small, is cheered.
